Stevie No More

Born on 29th August 1969, Stephen Namchyo aka Steve, Ustaad, was a very talented musician, one of the finest the country has ever seen. He left for his heavenly abode on 13th July 2010 after a brief illness. He was a doting father to Angel and Stephanie, a devoted husband to Pemba, a loving son, father figure to budding musicians, and a trustworthy friend. Overall he was a very humble human being. Stevie was unquestionably one of the most incredible people I have ever known. He was one of my best friends, and his spirit and brilliance has influenced my life and the lives of his many friends and peers profoundly. Anyone who knew Stevie was privileged, and my life has certainly been enriched by having known him and his wonderful family.
